ChaosGroup 官方提供了 V-Ray 的 alSurface shader 下载，目前版本是 v0.2b-alpha，而且一直在更新中。alSurface shader 是来自于 Anders Langlands 的开源项目 https://bitbucket.org/anderslanglands/alshaders/wiki/Home
目前他们提供了 Arnold 的 shader，并且功能上要比 AI 的更好用，更完善，再加上因为是免费开源，现在许多公司和个人都在使用 alshader。ChaosGroup 或许是跟随潮流，参考 alSurface 编译出了 vray 版本的 alSurface。
